Live tribute band Simply Queen coming to the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center on Feb. 23

The music of Queen dominated the airwaves and stadium tours throughout the 1970s and '80s. At 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, Simply Queen brings the group's sounds and on-stage theatrics to life at the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center in Benton Harbor.

This completely live tribute band performs all the iconic songs that have made Queen one of the most legendary rock bands of all time. Simply Queen faithfully recreates the grand scope of Queen's live shows, musically and visually capturing the amazing Queen experience that has filled stadiums worldwide.

From "Killer Queen" and "We Are the Champions" to "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Bohemian Rhapsody," Simply Queen's playlist delivers the hits along with choice album cuts from the famed Queen catalog.

The band is fronted by Freddie Mercury impersonator extraordinaire Rick Rock (vocals/piano/guitar), CC Lambrick (guitar/keyboards/vocals), Mitch Taylor (bass/vocals), and Phil Charrette (drums/vocals). Based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, these veteran musicians have performed at festivals, theatres, and arenas across North America and beyond.

Tickets for Simply Queen are available now at www.TheMendelCenter.com/events. Tickets may also be purchased in person through the Mendel Center box office weekdays from noon – 2 p.m. and 4 – 6 p.m. and two hours before show times in the Mainstage lobby.
